Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how BrawlSearch ("we", "our", or "the Website") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our site.

We collect the bare minimum required to provide our service:
- Player Tags: When you search for a Brawl Stars profile, we temporarily use the tag to fetch data from the official Supercell API. The tag is not stored on our servers after your request completes.
- Local Storage (your device): Your recent searches and anonymous usage counters are saved only on your browser using localStorage. We never transmit this data to any external server.
- Server Logs: Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log technical details such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps. These logs are used solely for security and performance monitoring and are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information solely to:
- Retrieve and display Brawl Stars player statistics.
- Maintain your recent searches list locally for convenience.
- Monitor site traffic and prevent abuse (e.g., rate limiting).
3. Cookies & Tracking
BrawlSearch itself does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts. However, some necessary technical cookies may be placed by our infrastructure (e.g., Cloudflare) to ensure site security and performance. We do not run advertisements or embed tracking pixels.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following external services:
- Supercell Brawl Stars API – to fetch player data. Please refer to Supercell’s own privacy policy regarding game data.
- Brawlify / BrawlStats CDN – we load brawler images and icons from these public CDNs. They may log standard HTTP requests (IP, user agent) for caching purposes.
- Discord, X (Twitter), BuyMeACoffee – links to external platforms where you can interact with us. Their privacy practices are independent of ours.
5. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe we might have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
6. Data Security
We implement standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access or alteration of your data. Because we store minimal data, the risk is inherently low.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Website after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
